What people say about us

We had a fabulous dinner here last night with a friend from London. David and the team were as always welcoming, helpful and efficient. There were so many lovely choices on the menu it was difficult to choose, but the salmon with stirfry veg and the battered fish and chunky chips were amazing, leaving us too full to try many of the desserts but we did manage to share a white chocolate pannacotta which certainly lived up to expectations and more. this was restaurant quality food for sure.

stayed one night 8th September when we arrived we were made to feel welcome what a lovely homely place to stay the bedroom was lovely pub lovely and the food was great, entertainment that night was good a local band was in thankyou to David, Brenda, Cheryl, Carly and Josh hope to see you soon Steve and Michele Petryszyn

Stopped off for Sunday lunch, very tasty large plateful of beef and all the trimmings. Service was great and swift, very friendly young lady. Visited again the next day for an early dinner and surprised to see most of the tables were reserved - on a Monday! The chicken with pasta in a creamy cajun sauce was delicious, though too much for me... my partner had pie and mash. I would recommend, it's a pity we don't live nearer.
